1000pc vintage Master Craftsman Gold Box Wooden Jigsaw puzzle complete

As stated on the box, “A challenge to the enthusiast, as no guide picture is supplied with this hand cut interlocking jigsaw puzzle.” A printout of the completed puzzle, recently assembled, will be provided in an envelope in the box


The box states that the finished size of the puzzle is approx 22” x 28” though it’s closer to 21 ½” x 27 ½".  There are approximately 1000 wooden pieces, and they are all there. I put the puzzle together as shown. The individual pieces are hand cut, and some are interesting shapes. Several pieces have small nail holes which are the result of the hand-cutting process.
Made in England. A Michael Stanfield product. Most likely from the 1970s or 1980s.
The subtle colors of Glen Affric (Scotland), large size, and loosely fit pieces make this puzzle very challenging.
