    DON RUPARD Rare Large Handcrafted Wood Puzzle Box Engraved Signed 1988. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    Here is your chance to own a rare polished wooded puzzle box made by Don Rupard (1932-2019) from Centerville, Virginia. This puzzle stands about 9” high & is about 13”x8” and weights just under 4.5 lbs.
    The finish and coloring of this piece resembles petrified wood. This piece shows the wide growth of rings of the log this came from. There are also many “worm” holes throughout this natural piece of wood turned artistic puzzle box by the master Don Rupard.
    Once you remove the “keystone” piece that locks all the pieces together, all of the additional puzzle pieces and hidden compartments can then be revealed.
    The artists signature D.Rupard 1988 is embossed on 1 end in black. You can feel the sunken letters, these are not applied. This is in very good condition for being 33+ years old!
    Don Rupard Puzzle boxes do not come up on eBay very often & the majority are much smaller.
    This piece was likely purchased at a sugar loaf craft fair.
    This item will be carefully packaged and insured as needed to ensure the delivery of this rare and valuable piece.
    There are 13 pieces to this puzzle. 2 of the little compartments are missing Lids so there are some pieces missing. The missing pieces do not affect the puzzles ability to open and close properly. Make sure to closely look at the pictures. What you see is what you get.
